"As is the case with most folks pursuing various creative outlets, I have been artistically challenging myself since early childhood.
In my single digit years I was tearing through sketch pads - designing the next great sneaker, golf course or architectural floor plan. The teenage years brought with it punk rock, a guitar and countless hours in the basement not only writing songs but also delving into the recording process. Shortly after my introduction to the world-wide-web in high school, I found myself designing websites. This brought with it another terrific opportunity to learn a new language, develop a familiarity with digital design and satisfy yet another creative avenue.
Although I have always captured memories with my trusty film point-and-shoot throughout those years, it was not until after graduating from the United States Air Force Academy that I began fully exploring the world of artistic and creative photography.
Personally, photography is the perfect culmination of the creative process; from pre-visualizing to technical execution to digital finalizing to receiving feedback via on-line communities.
It truly is an amazingly enjoyable and challenging journey with endless possibilities for learning while being able to freeze a completely unique moment in time."
